You were doing things so easily before. But now you have to be careful and take steps that are appropriate and do not come between the baby's growth You have been added with loads of other responsibilities. You lose yourself among the diapers and bottles. You will end up losing all your energies in case if you feel that you want to do every thing on your own. You must ask for help whenever needed. You work for 24 hours a day. You should not be shy for asking some one to help you. In between, you must take a break. This will regain your lost energies. You feel shy to take breaks. But you deserve it. You can give baby to your partner or in laws for a while so that they can caress her and you can have a short nap, or a small walk or any such activity that would help to regain your energies. People are really willing to help you. But you never ask for help. Nothing comes on it's own. You have to ask for it. Family and friends will be too happy if you ask for help. They do not come on their own because they do not want to intrude your routine. Ask once and see how relaxed you feel. You cannot do everything by yourself. The responsibilities of a mom are never ending. You must understand this. Thus the feeling that you want to do every thing on your own will make you feel frustrated at certain level. You will get exhausted. We all need support at certain point in time. So if you ask for help you are not a bad mother. You have all the capacities as gifted by the God. But you are a human being and not a machine. So you need breaks from your work. If someone asks you whether you need some gift, you can ask for a housecleaning voucher. As a mother you have to take care of yourself. You are not a bad mom, if you ask for help. If you will be fine, you can concentrate on your baby. But if you fall sick due to over exhaustion, then your baby will suffer. So ask for help whenever you need. This is because you were always there for people who needed you.
